Ron Schmidtling is a published paleontologist and geologist who received his Master of Science degree from UCLA. He was a geological consultant on the Getty Conservation Institute’s Renaissance Bronze Project for almost 10 years and was a paleontology site monitor at the Hollywood Reservoir and an archaic Indian site for Michael Brandman Associates. Ron is also an amateur photographer who enjoys hiking and excavating on the weekends.
