Transfer students

If you’ve successfully completed college course credits at other eligible, accredited institutions recognized by the U.S. Department of Education, submit your transcripts for Transfer Credit Evaluation. Transferring eligible credits will reduce the time and expense of earning your degree at California College of ASU.

When to request transfer credit 

As soon as you’re accepted for admission, submit all official transcripts from all previous colleges and institutions. You must submit all your transcripts before your start date.

All of your transfer credits earned in eligible courses from eligible institutions will be evaluated.

Courses successfully completed at a prior postsecondary educational institution will be evaluated for transfer of credit if the institution meets the following criteria:

  • Regional accreditation.
  • Recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
  • Defines a credit hour by the standard set by the U.S. Department of Education.

Courses successfully completed at an eligible institution will be evaluated for transfer of credit.

All official transcripts and other proof of graduation documents may be sent by standard mail in a sealed envelope directly from the issuing educational institution in the U.S. or from a credential evaluation service approved by the Association of International Credentials Evaluators or the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services. California College of ASU requires all international applicants to provide an official transcript or certificate of completion.

All diplomas, transcripts and proof-of-graduation documents issued in languages other than English must also be translated by a certified English-language translation service.
