California College of ASU 2024 Commencement Ceremony announcement
Award-winning producer and business executive Jeff Clanagan to give keynote address
Los Angeles, California, May 3, 2024 – California College of ASU will celebrate its graduating class on May 6 at ASU California Center Broadway in downtown Los Angeles. Jeff Clanagan, award-winning producer, pioneering business executive and visionary creative will give the keynote address.
California College of ASU is an independent, nonprofit affiliate of Arizona State University located in the heart of downtown Los Angeles. Graduates are earning degrees in the art and science of communications and the diverse media of contemporary storytelling with plans to enter creative industries.
Graduating students and their guests will hear from Clanagan, the Founder of Codeblack films and the Chief Distribution officer and co-founder of HARTBEAT, the global, multi-media company founded with comedian Kevin Hart.
Clanagan will share his path to success, including his partnership with Hart that led to producing and releasing the concert movie, Kevin Hart: Let Me Explain in 2013, which grossed $32 million at the box office.
“This year’s Commencement speaker is truly a pioneer in the industry whose piercing leadership has led to some of the most transformative entertainment successes dominating modern culture today,” said Dr. David Carter, Chief Academic Officer at California College of ASU. “Mr. Clanagan is exactly who our students need to hear from as his journey is sure to inspire them as they embark upon their careers.”
The California College of ASU 2024 Commencement will honor the graduates from summer 2023, fall 2023 and the spring 2024 semester.
